System Requirements & Installation Guide

Minimum Requirements:
MindManager Pro 7 Version 7.0.429 or later
Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Professional
Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional or Home
Microsoft® Windows® Vista all versions
Microsoft® Office 2007, 2003, XP or 2002
Microsoft® .Net 2.0

** Please note:
Visual Project Maps is NOT supported on Tablet PC. Some Tablet PC's cause problems with the interface. Please make sure you trial a copy on your system to make sure that there are not problems before purchasing.

Existing Users
While every effort has been made to maintain a compatability between this updated version and previous versions, we recommend that any important data is backed up or copied before trialling this release. If you do encounter problems please notify our technical support department as soon as possible.

Installation under non-Windows® Vista® OS

1. Make sure that MindManager® Pro 7 is installed. If you have not installed this application first and do not have it you can download a 21 day trial from our website here.

2. Make sure that Microsoft® .Net 2.0 is installed. If you need to install this framework please visit www.Microsoft.com

3. Double-click the setup.exe file that came in the ZIP file.

4. Follow the on-screen prompts.

5. On Completion, open MindManager and you will see the VPM Management menu option across the top main menu on the right hand side.

Installing under Windows Vista OS

1. Make sure that MindManager® Pro 7 is installed. If you have not installed this application first and do not have it you can download a 21 day trial from our website here.

2. Make sure that Microsoft® .Net 2.0 is installed. If you need to install this framework please visist www.Microsoft.com

3. Make sure that the Windows® Vista® User Account Control (UAC) is switched off. To do this go to Control Panel->Security Center and you will be able to turn of the User Account Control. Do not worry, once the installation has completed you can come back and turn it on again.

4. Left-click the setup.exe that came in the ZIP file and select “Run as Administrator”

5. Follow the on-screen prompts.

6. On Completion, open MindManager® and you will see the “VPM Management” menu option across the top main menu on the right hand side.

7. Don’t forget your User Account Control if you turned it off.
